Personal Time Off - Tanner team members receive 20 personal days a year to use for any purpose.

401(k) - Tanner team members receive guaranteed annual firm contributions of 3% to their 401(k) account, providing them with added confidence in their retirement.

Health Insurance - Tanner team members have the option of choosing from several Intermountain Health Care (IHC) plans for their health insurance. Tanner pays a substantial portion of the insurance premiums.

Dental Insurance - Tanner team members have the opportunity of being a part of the Dental Select dental health program.

Other Insurance - Tanner team members receive life insurance and long-term disability coverage.

Holidays - Tanner team members are compensated for eight holidays per year.

CPA Exam - Tanner pays its team members a bonus upon passing the CPA exam.

Continuing Education - Tanner ensures that each professional team member has in excess of 40 hours of continuing education per year. The majority of this training is from seminars from industry leaders around the country. Continuing education training not only focus on the technical topics of auditing and taxation but also covers specialized industries, leadership skills, team building, communication, regulatory compliance and enhancing efficiencies.

Work/Life Balance - Tanner’s culture fosters a work/life balance in public accounting second to none. Our culture is that of a long-term, win/win relationship with each team member.

Coaching - Each Tanner team member receives an experienced team member to serve as a coach. The coach provides guidance, counsel and assistance. Coaching sessions take place every six to eight weeks throughout the year.

Partner Communication - Tanner has an open door policy and therefore all team members have access to any partner to discuss ideas, issues, feedback or any item the team member desires.

Professional Association Dues - Team members are encouraged to join the AICPA and Utah Association of CPA’s and Tanner pays those costs. In addition, should a team member desire to join another organization or association, upon approval, Tanner will also pay those costs.

Section 125 Plan - Team member unreimbursed medical and child care costs along with unreimbursed medical and dental premiums are withheld on a pre-tax basis.

Parties and Gatherings - Tanner holds a variety of socials, parties and golf outings each year which provide opportunities for spouses and significant others to meet and mingle with the other Tanner team members.

Engagements - Tanner provides opportunities to work on a wide variety of engagements which provides opportunities to learn various industries. Clients include large SEC and privately held companies, small private companies, not-for-profit organizations and companies with multi-state and foreign operations.

Technology - Technology is a critical part of our culture and Tanner team members have the benefit of working with cutting edge technology. We provide the latest computers to our new team members and upgrade and update existing technology on a regular basis. We have available to team members specialized software to assist them in developing efficiencies in client service and specialized skills to enhance their careers. The audit process has been paperless for 5 years and our tax practice and administrative functions are going paperless by the end of 2006.

Research Capability - Tanner uses internet based research for tax, audit and consulting which is updated daily as changes and additions are made to professional standards and tax law.

Experienced Local Leadership - Tanner team members have the opportunity to learn first hand from a number of experienced professionals. Tanner has a proper mix of seasoned partners and managers.
