Kent has 24 years of audit, business advisory, and litigation support services experience with international CPA firms, serving public and privately held companies in a variety of industries including retail, technology, venture capital, manufacturing, real estate, distribution, hospitality, bio-tech, and transportation. He has significant experience in the audits of employee benefit plans.

He has advised and assisted with numerous public offerings of equity and debt securities, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, internal controls enhancements, and risk management. Kent has also played a key role in assisting some of Utah’s top attorneys in litigation support services for the attorneys’ clients.

Kent has Masters and Bachelors degrees in Accounting from the University of Utah and is a past president of the University of Utah’s School of Accounting and Information Systems Advisory Board. He has also served as president of the Salt Lake Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and was named the U of U’s BAP Outstanding Business Professional of the Year for 2003-2004. Kent serves on the Board of Directors of Guadalupe Schools and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Rotary Club of Salt Lake.
